Yes! Though I think the downside is because theres so much variation there can be a lack of balance. One army can dominate another and then be ass-kicked by yet another, all dependent on what’s brought along. If you get me.
I got stuck in a massive dark elf glut for ages (love Lokir Fellheart!) simply because there’s such variation in infantry. Attack/defence: you can rock both looks with those evil sods.
Haven’t used that yet. Gotta get on it!

One of our pub regulars found a pigeon with a bad leg and now he’s nursing them back to health. Apparently their talon grip has improved a whole lot since yesterday. He’s called them Al Pidgeno.
