In case you missed it, @thekingsfund.bsky.social released their #SocialCare360 earlier this month, sharing their analysis of the key trends affecting the #SocialCareSector over time:
Abi, our brilliant Art Project Lead, stood in front of the Shape of Care exhibit wall, which has some floating shelves showing sculptures created for the exhibition.

Someone from the museum helping Ben, a person we support, with their art.
Helen, a person we support, with their finished portrait locket.
It's #WorldArtDay and our art group visited Holburne Museum in Bath to see their Shape of Care exhibit, which invites us to consider where care lives in our daily routines. We were shown around and then, taking inspiration from one of the pieces, had a chance to make miniature portraits in lockets.

Residents at Felix House in Weston-super-Mare had an egg-cellent time at their tea party over the Easter weekend! 🐰🐣
They had an easter egg hunt, a rabbit decoration station, games, and tea, coffee, cakes and hot cross buns a-plenty. Everyone joined in and really enjoyed themselves, as you can see!
The nomination included glowing feedback: “Their health and wellbeing improvement speaks volumes for the support they receive. Whistley Dene is the best place for them and they are having the best quality of life. Their journey has been incredible."

One of these was for the team at Whistley Dene in Wiltshire, who showed true commitment in supporting a person who needed a hospital stay, ultimately helping them to recover and return to the service. This shows the incredible impact that great social care can have, even on physical health outcomes.
For #CelebratingSocialCare month, we're looking back to our Extra Mile Awards in March. 159 nominations were made by colleagues, people we support, and family and friends, showing just how much outstanding work is taking place across the Trust and a real spirit of celebration among #TeamMilestones.
