Some of my favorite RPGs are (this is very specific) party-based dungeon-crawlers with real-time combat but NOT locked to a grid - a style born in mid-90s & dead by early 2000s lol
Grimrock revived Dungeon Master-likes, and there's many King's Field & old-Wizardry-likes, but nothing like these...
Really have been slacking off this year. For instance here's a crazy long throwback instead of anything new :D
My older stuff was way more sedate colour-wise; I certainly prefer things to be vibrant nowadays.

This is Kevin. He's a reactive dog getting some training to be more comfortable. His trainer brought him to a pet store for some socialization where they learned he is no longer reactive when given a giant stuffed dinosaur. 14/10 (TT: katieandtatesfostermates)
A colored sketch of Godzilla - the silhouette is largely the same, but the "legs" are actually massive wings that hang below the "arms" and with wing fingers bent backwards to form the atomic spines. There is also a sketch with the wings outstretched.

I keep coming back to these tarot inspired mechs because I had so much fun designing them and thinking about the world they are from.
I think I'm going to try and make a game about them. That way I can have my friends pilot their own make-believe-cool-robot assigned by fate.
