I'd agree if this we're any other series but the entire point of the zelda series is the continually recurring battle between the hero, the goddess and demise, the only way to have a smaller villain is to have them revive ganon at the end of act 1

The problem with expanding on the wilds era games is that they're pretty much done, there's stuff like details about the different races in hyrule that can be expanded on but for the most part the story is done unless they decide to bring back demise, vaati or fi or focus on the events before BOTW

Hard disagree, Majora's Mask is probably the worst place to start purely because the story relies so heavily on the relationship between Link and Navi and being aware of the broken timeline caused by the events of ocarina of time. Plus its a game about Link dying which is sadge
