To everyone who has been frustrated with x rank - just hold on. as soon as you get to around 2300~ XP (takoroka) the games start to make a lot more sense. the solo playstyle and greed obviously still persists but your teammates and the enemies play a lot smarter and better. It actually feels fair

I might try a bit of VGC- maybe not fully commit myself back into Comp Pokémon since I already focusing most of my efforts into Splatoon, but it genuinely seems like a fun thing to try out.

With Pokemon Champions releasing later today, I wanna put out there to my competitive splatoon mutuals: if you are interested in playing VGC and want to chat about the game, you should hit me up here or on discord!! Ive been playing VGC for 15 years (yikes 😳) and have some decent results!

It always bring me some measure of joy to see people recognize me or point me out at events. These days, I'm still doing my part with assisting in Splatoon or other tournaments while being *almost* invisible in the process..

But I'm still here. Always will be. 😉

This game is hard,
You can put a lot of effort into trying to improve
And you can improve
But not enough where you see any signs to show it

Its hard going from a time where I was consistently getting new results to going on the longest drought

Not giving up yet but its painful lmao

Always find it interesting how the top level is mostly made up of pickups and the mid low level is made up of teams

I dont get hyped at top level because "Judd Illegal Calculator" means nothing to me.

But pit Whiprays against Los Inklings and I get excited because I recognize them

This is why I need splatoon to keep team names around. FTWin, Starburst, The Whiprays, Los Inklings, etc. Rosters change but people attach to teams. Same thing with your local sports team.

Instead of deleting your team, remake it with new people. Keep your story.
