The smoking gun is jay walking. Blaming the victims rather than the perpetrators is at the root of everything.

That's where the name comes from ...

My point is that punishment is not the answer when you build in dependency. If some should not be driving, and that prevents them from working we have made anything better. We don't cut off water supplies even when people don't pay their bills and spray their hose at passers by.

I don't think horse dependency should lead to car dependency.

We don't have to register cars annually in the UK.
We do have to pay VED annually, but I'm guessing those that don't insure, don't bother with that either.

Nearly 160,000 uninsured cars seized on UK roads Seizure numbers hit a 17-year high as an estimated 300,000 uninsured vehicles are driven each day.

Uninsured driving isn’t victimless. Offenders are 6–7x more likely to be in a fatal crash, and over half are linked to wider criminality—reflecting risk-taking, disregard for the law, or deception. It pushes up costs for honest drivers. Tackling it protects communities.

Solar farms do not destroy nature.

No I'm not. You are vastly underestimating your personal power consumption, so you can underestimate the area of solar panels needed to meet your, and by extension the population's, energy requirements.

Why? Do you not buy things? Domestic energy consumption is more than what comes out of your sockets.

2 days ago 0 0 1 0

You haven't. You have bought things that rely on the grid. We need solar at scale, rooftop doesn't provide that.

We grew up with coal fired power stations as part of the rural landscape. Solar ones will be far less intrusive.

Why? What is Scottish Power doing? Employing terrible drivers?

There are not. That's just an excuse to consume more fossil fuels.

"Patriots" that hate British English.

Proponents of rooftop first, don't want solar.
Farmland is an industrial landscape, the difference is that we grew up with it, so see it as natural and normal. People should see solar farms as an alternative to pollution waste.

Percentage points are not percentages. 15% is 15% more than 13%.
Polling isn't about asking random people.

You can't watch Taxi, and think he tries to be clever!

Stupid premise. How does ant viewer know what a film maker's intentions are. All this means is a person thought the film was going to be different from what they experienced.

It was silly but fun. When has Luc Besson tried to be clever?

Nationalised wind farm would be better. No wind farms would be far worse.
