An entire generation of Americans fought and died to defeat this evil. Many never came home, sacrificing everything to stop it. Parading these signs is an insult to their memory and the families who bore the cost.

There has been a troubling trend of normalizing cruelty in public discourse and policy. We must reject this as a society. We can debate policies, bills, and laws, but basic human decency should not be up for debate. If you take joy in the suffering of others, it’s time for serious self-reflection
