The blue foil was so slick on the Leo zine cover - thrilled to see the Raph zine achieve that goal even faster!
Great time to secure your copy if you're keen! Here's a sneak peek of my page π #TMNT

We canβt wait to share the next full section of playable gameplay from War of the Western Deep at PAX West this summer! Lots of fun new stuff afoot!
Check out the demo and Wishlist on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/2976440/...
I can't believe I'd forgotten about the BB's. I was also not allowed to watch the Simpsons (I think parents were afraid of me learning how to be Rude - I was also discouraged from Sonic cartoons for this reason), but thankfully Butterfingers were fine.
Digital art of a white and tan female charr, holding a trans flag banner in one claw and her glowing prismatic greatsword in the other. She is in a wide warlike stance, baring her fearsome teeth offscreen at an unseen foe.
I think I only posted this on Tumblr before, last fall, but it can go here today.
Azurah isn't trans herself, but she is a massive orc-cat who would throw down for *all* her brothers and sisters. #GW2 #charr
I defend reaction gifs as fun, but only in their proper place: back-and-forth chat, with friends, and the gif choice has to be at least a little clever or novel. 1) Overused/boomer gifs 2) on social media 3) at strangers 4) as the full statement is indeed slop.
A protest sign lying on an outdoor wood floor. It has a design styled after the Rebel Alliance loon logo (seen in Minnesota earlier this year), but since this is Ohio the bird is a cardinal instead. Big block letters read "ICE ARE STORMTROOPERS."
Back from my local #NoKings events in central Ohio. Here was the sign!
As a teenager you could have easily goaded me into a rant on Disney VHS/DVD covers. Dodge and bloom syndrome, general over-rendering of lighting on designs that didn't benefit from it, yech. I thought even I could do better (I couldn't yet, but at least I could spot the problem X))
happy birthday!!
My Calvin and Hobbes strip is the 1812 Overture one - fitting as well, in its way :]
We're thrilled to announce that @luciendodge.bsky.social has joined the voice cast of War of the Western Deep!
It has been so much fun working with Lucien again after his incredible work on Dust: An Elysian Tail, and we think folks will love his take on this gruff canid soldier!

I guess in that way, the more a version of TMNT feels like a superhero show, the less on board I probably am to start. They are good boys who like to help people, but I like it to be less about Heroes Saving the City and more about them Surviving the Horrors... with NYC as an unwitting beneficiary.
So when some iteration gives them regular access to a place where they can socialize with other weirdos, or overfills the roster with so many mutants that it changes the genre the human world is living in, it has to work to win me back. The paradigm shift of IDW's mutagen bomb was done thoughtfully.
I usually don't prefer settings that give the TMNT more than a temp wistful experience in a place where they don't have to hide at home, or with one of a handful of trusted friends. I like when the world feels like it could be our own, with the TMNT a freak accident doing their best in the shadows.
(There's also that time in the 2k3 show where they're shown to have an ongoing mutually beneficial relationship with a group of homeless people, who are explicitly targeted by a small-time villain because nobody will miss them if they disappear. Except oops, the Turtles do)
Meanwhile there's IDW TMNT's Mutant Town arc - which got some criticism, but I appreciated that our heroes basically try to build a mutual aid network in the first society they've ever been able to join, itself born out of a catastrophic event and struggling to survive. And it's *messy* at times.
I hate looking at actual real life headlines and having images of Faro Swarm bots dance in my head π
I would like off this timeline, please.
I think those toes upset me most, haha :D
I used to just have a broad appreciation for a variety of cool Pokemon designs, no single favorites. The handful of games I actually played, I'd attach most strongly to my starter. Until this thing came along and became my ace.
(Mine was female and so I named her Beck, lol)
a series of rough digital sketches of Perrserker - brandishing his claw blades, sleeping, and adorably holding a berry.
Have some old doodles of a surprise favorite for this #Pokemonday! #Pokemon
We're SO excited to announce that Maggie Robertson has joined our incredible voice cast for War of the Western Deep!
Maggie has done some absolutely amazing work bringing Skora to life and we can't wait to share more with you in the coming weeks!
The flavor seems off on most of the new character designs, but *that* is definitely Aloy. My daughter π₯Ί
Man if only there was a story Sony had about unregulated AI technology being bad for the world.
A graphic of a northern cardinal in the shape of Star Wars' Rebel Alliance logo. At the bottom right corner is an orange buckeye leaf and three black, spiky-shelled buckeyes.
Slight color-swap that interferes less with the bird silhouette?
Still had a bug in my brain about making a OH-specific version that was a little less ~graphic design is my passion~ so here's another pass:
A graphic of a northern cardinal in the shape of Star Wars' Rebel Alliance logo.
A graphic of a northern cardinal in the shape of Star Wars' Rebel Alliance logo. This one has the inner stripes and star field from the Ohio state flag overlaying the torso of the bird, almost as if it's wearing a cape.
If you haven't seen the rad Rebel Alliance Loon yet, you can check out a customizable version of it here - minnesotarebelalliance.com I just felt like making an edit with my state bird (and tried an admittedly garish flag version, since a whopping 7 states rock the cardinal)
I don't know if there's anyone in my immediate bubble from Minnesota, but to any who happen to see this, I want to say that you (and in particular the Twin Cities folks) are absolute champions. π #iceout
uuuuuugh. absolutely gross.
I was disappointed to find that it was essentially a scifi concept (would use basically no power! ...ok) and not remotely close to actual janky novelty product. X)
(I also want you to know that since I'd never heard of this I went to google it, briefly wondered what search terms to use, laughed to myself, typed "weird goo fridge" ...and it actually returned useful results)
