In case you’re feeling bad about yourself today, here’s a wee tale. Four years ago I assembled a new desk chair. It’s been awful. Uncomfortable. Weirdly slanted. I had to keep a step stool under my feed and a pillow behind me knees and it was still BAD. +

You are heroic, Charlie.
Oh, Charlie. You must be exhausted.
Hello!
Duchess Mug™️ of espresso thick with foam and topped with cinnamon rests on a round table holding unfinished puzzle. Puzzle's edges are complete, along with a good amount of top pieces and a fair chunk assembled in the middle. Box lids askew in blurred background. Appears that this puzzle might depict a woman in her garden during springtime.
Good morning, all
@finallydeirdre.bsky.social I just saw a follow request from you on Instagram. Is that really you?
Colorful flowers (pink, yellow, white, red) in a thicket of greenery
Happy Birthday to the handsome, smart, wonderful @nathandunbar.bsky.social
I hope your birthday improved as the day continued
Tuck a few of my sentences behind your ears when you want to feel fancy.
Looked at Bluesky and saw a more recent post from @sannewman.bsky.social and it finally felt like Spring. The sun came out!
Your fortitude is an example, @miraclecharlie.bsky.social
Charlie, no! I am so sorry. What a beginning, jeez.
Gorgeous man with friend up high above 8th Avenue in Manhattan. City night view in windowed background.
Three friends, one handsome. 47th Street NYC.
Photo of Charlie in a New York diner, holding up Duchess on a stick. Coffee cup in foreground.
Charlie in leather jacket near a window in Algonquin Hotel in NYC. Looking adorable.
Happy birthday to someone I admire so much. A miracle to have met you. @miraclecharlie.bsky.social
All the better!
I like the two-of-each concept. Suitable for sharing 💛
I still remember where I was when I read this one. Great book. The writing is compassionate, responsible, and honest.
occasional reminder that my [award-winning] second book is in paperback and it's cheap as hell. bookshop.org/p/books/the-...
I will keep you posted telepathically
Hold on, everyone. I have to go out for a bit this morning. Nobody say anything good while I'm gone. You know I can't bear to miss out.
I need at least a handful of you people to become billionaires so you can bankroll my preferred reality into existence: Heaven on earth for everyone.
Two Duchess mugs are situated on a sky-blue felt puzzle mat. The mugs rest in the middle of an unfinished puzzle project where only the outer edges have been linked together and a few inner pieces have been assembled to indicate a red car, maybe a yellow taxi cab and possibly some flowers. Green upside down box in left background shows a pile of mixed and unsorted puzzle pieces. Blurred background to the right indicates a picture of what the project will become: A sunny day in New York City, a bright spring day the park. Hot pink and soft pink sorting trays rest further in the distance of this photo.
Good morning, all
Is this the complaints department?

Hello, hello!
Duchess mug of coffee topped by whipped cream and a generous helping of sprinkles rests on white balcony railing in a quiet beachtown. Background shows early sunshine streaming through palm trees lighting the grass lawn with tall shadows and streaks of golden light. Picket fences and beach houses nearby. A light pole, and the sky. Hot toddy, not pictured, on standby for anyone who needs it.
Good morning, all!
My Ninja 900 watt blends everything so completely that it’s soupy and happily unrecognizable which is how I like it. Chunks only happen when I put in a prune. The prune always escapes the blade!
That looks high-powered! I use the Ninja Professional 900 watt blender, which is about $400 less expensive than the glorious Vitamix in your photo. I wonder if yours can solve world peace.
We will correct this oversight as soon as possible. Thank you for your forbearance!
Duchess mug of espresso topped with a plump swirl of whipped cream rests atop a balcony railing in a beach community. Background shows several palm trees, mostly green lawn, a blue striated sky in early morning light, some houses in the distance. A clear, clean start to a crisp March morning at 42 degrees in Texas. And love, one of the few known cures for the common cold.
I stand ready to bring you whatever you need. Let’s start with a hot espresso and some fresh air.
