In 2023, Narges was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for “her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all.”
Reihane’s photos of Narges were used to announce her victory.
Narges Mohammadi is an Iranian journalist, activist, and human rights defender. Since 2015, Narges has been imprisoned by the state for her work. She remains in prison in #Iran and her health is in critical condition. #FreeNarges
