That’s the problem I’m having with it. 4 nearly identical characters that have 6-7 cards each with multiple treatments is making it difficult for me to look at the spoilers and absorb what does what.

Be willing to overstuff your deck with your theme cards so you can find what works through playtesting and then cut those for your vegetables (removal, etc) instead of agonizing over it.

Kind of similarly… before Baird I wasn’t a believer in white, especially Boros. I love how hard I had to work to make it viable and it really feeds my love for incremental board control.

Getting frustrated with design trends lately. The new “everything makes treasures” is “everything is a blood artist which is making board wipes bad. Board wipes being bad leads to inescapable board states and things like the next gripe being easier to pull off, which is more unblockable cards.

Reminds me of building a pheonix deck as a gift for my ex. It was a lot of fun making sure he had all the good ones and trying to find a showcase card or two.

Artifact mana is such an easy bar to clear for making everything basically uncounterable… they were bound to do this with one of the mechanically unique cards eventually. Too bad they gave up on print-to-demand (and tariffs make SLDs even more unappealing).
