Recently found what's probably my last remaining paper Magic deck. Going through it, looking at what I made back then (10+ years) and what I build now, I think I miss building decks like that. No game changers, no perfect mana base, just... silly jank with what I have on hand.

Might I introduce you to one of my favorite American cryptids, the Appalachian Not-Deer? Looks perfectly normal at first, but the longer you look, the more unsettled you become. You can't quite articulate why, but there's just something... inherently *wrong* about this eerie... Not-Deer.
