“Great day today, started with a walk from Valley of Rocks to Lynton up to Hollerday Hill … Then a nice drive home and fantastic to see the traction engines Hercules and Kingfisher having a pit stop at the top of Porlock before moving off to Exford.”

This was all farmland till about 30 years ago. It was then decided to not close the breach in the shingle ridge anymore, let the tide do its thing, and turn the land into marsh.
The water seems to be claiming more and more of the land every year.

You are welcome.

We’d be so grateful if US politicians could find their backbone and removed Tangolini and his mad advisors from what’s left of the White House. We would all sleep better.
