"Developments in Minnesota closely mirror a scenario explored in a 2024 exercise conducted at the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law at the University of Pennsylvania, which I direct," writes Claire Finkelstein.
But, what about dead dinosaur juice!?
I've been to Kuujjuaq a few times! Enjoy!
Whereabouts you visiting?
Elora, as in Elora Gorge, Ontario? Great tubing there!
I've always found her reasonable. I was beginning to think that CBC not calling PP as having lost was them trying not to appear biased against Conservatives, though!
I scroll here multiple times a day, but I haven't posted here much, other than some resharing. We need more local content!
In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
If American late-night shows have taught us anything, it's that before we can talk about Mark Carney's policies, we have to make some 'what he looks like' jokes. @clareblackwood.bsky.social @ianmmacintyre.bsky.social @nileseguin.bsky.social

I'm supposed to be part of this IDEAS taping in Charlottetown on March 26 as part of their series looking at Canadian democracy.
The goal is to talk about electoral reform in a province which has considered this multiple times. Looking forward to it. You can book your tickets now.
Fuck that's scary.

So the administration that killed Qasem Soleimani (an Iranian major general), for which Iran has vowed (and reportedly attempted) retribution, has canned a bunch of FBI, is working in doing the same to CIA, and suggested they're going to take over Gaza. What could go wrong?
The amount of effed up things that happened in the US in less than a day is staggering.
President Carter’s funeral made for a drama-filled presidential reunion
I am more and more spending time here away from Facebook.
Jealous of how good this is.
Love The National
#PEI officials were so confident they'd be hosting the 2024 NHL awards they booked off 50,000 square feet of convention space & a block of hotel rooms.
The awards went to Vegas.
PEI is sponsoring the NHL to the tune of millions a year, still hoping to land the big show.

I feel like (for better or worse), most technology has developed under the watch of Gen X. How that will all play out is probably yet to be fully seen.
