I finally had my UK citizenship ceremony at the end of October. I have been in the UK since 1988, and after Brexit happened, didn’t bother to apply. But after the US election a year ago I was done with the US. I took the oath in Gaelic because Scotland is my home.

I think so - that shore experiences heavily active erosion. Just a few paces near that spot, a salt pans sight disappeared overnight just over 100 years ago after a big storm.

Today’s thesis win: nailing down the thesis title! Just in time for my supervisor to submit “intention to submit” form. 😃
The feeling you get when you finish a 108-page introduction chapter and submit to supervisors for their feedback (aka slings and arrows). Now to finish the discussion/conclusion chapter… who else can relate?
