But people that do play their games at a tournament level, it is a nightmare.
Samurai knows this.
And Nintendo's stance on any competition tournament of their games has been bad.
Or they want to stay away and let us me.
Splatoon, Mario kart. Smash. Etc have been not sell supported.

Even if you put a

Melee
Brawl
Ultimate
Collection.

That is 4 games that would all need changes.
Enhanced textures.
Features.
Etc.

The idea only sounds good to people that want to turn on the game. But don't have a disk, and wii.

And with melee,
1.02 isn't the latest version. It's PAL. Which no body likes.
And with the MVC 2 rerelease, they did make changes to the base game including gameplay. Even if it was welcomed.
No body trusts them to make an effort to make a worthy rerelease.

And for competitive games, there is always a split between the first version and the rerelease.
The Halo master chief collection is a good example.
It just ruined the scene where they couldn't agree what to play on.
Any minor change is a change.

They only rereleased smash64.
Which is telling.
Wii shop should have stayed a thing.
It was the best shop. That size limit did limit what games like super meat boy could have been on it.

Smash has always been about the new release.

This was 2 wi players against each other.
I won the first game with a Mewtwo ditto. He played Mewtwo before, Wario main now.
I barely lost the next 2 games. I hated that I got hit by so much down smash. And I hated losing.
I hated losing this match the most, more than the other 3 combined.

Toundra- randon Ivey, and said they were last seed. But it was a nail biter. FIRST MEWTWO SET WAS A 2-1 WIN.
Orly- i waited 1hr 30+ minutes for this set because he got 2nd in melee singles. I took 3 stocks.
Kibby- whoever seeded this was a monster.

feras- was apparently an upset. But I won 2-0. I can see their skill, but he seemed frustrated about the MU.
Ashley- I played and got some good plays on both sides. But game 3 was a 3 stock loss. They over shooted my jumps and grabbed everything. Very good player. I had some weird mis-inputs.
