There are a lot of countries that allow birthright citizenship, but there is only one stupid enough to make you president.

Again and again and again...but MAGA doesn't seem to get it.

Revisiting this now that the Macbook Neo has been announced. At that price range, this becomes even MORE attractive!

I'm not worried about #Trump's signature being on the #dollar bill. The way he's running things, dollars will soon be as useless as #pennies.

Yeah, I have two little laptops that run Linux, and have 12 volts. I got them for like $60 about 4 years ago...they're little champs...but my mac is FAST decoding FT4/FT8, where those things chug.

Caveats: Only two USB ports, both are USB-C. If you're powering the laptop, you'll need to use one of them. Seriously consider a USB expander, and then buy quality, because troubleshooting RF in your USB ports is no fun.

I have a MacBook Air - and it's pretty decent as a ham laptop. FLDigi runs great on it, as do the 2 major FT8 programs. Some of the other Windows only stuff you'll miss, of course.

IMHO, the Saudis and Qataris called in the $2bn + 1@747 worth of favors they'd paid for, before the Epstein files hurt Trump's political favor any further.

Of course they are.

Don't you have to have the federal government's permission to sue it? I don't see that happening.

So they're going to steal twice from us - once with us paying the tariffs directly, and once being repaid with our hard-earned tax dollars?

Support Constitutional Amendment Limiting Presidential Pardon Power Text SIGN PNSITB to 50409 — I am writing to urge you to support the joint resolution proposed by Representatives Cohen, Johnson of Georgia, and Levin that would amend the Constitution to place necessary limitations on the presidential pardon power. This amendment addresses a critical vulnerability in our system of checks and balances that has become increasingly apparent. The proposed amendment would prohibit the President from pardoning themselves, their immediate family members, their relatives, paid presidential campaign employees, and anyone who committed offenses at the President's direction or in coordination with the President. It would also invalidate any pardon issued for a corrupt purpose and bar pardons for offenses motivated by the direct personal or financial interests of these protected individuals. These restrictions are essential to prevent the pardon power from becoming a tool for personal protection rather than an instrument of justice and mercy. The Founders could not have anticipated a scenario where the pardon power might be weaponized to shield a President's inner circle from accountability for crimes committed on their behalf or for their benefit. When pardons serve personal interests rather than the public good, they undermine the fundamental principle that no one is above the law. The amendment preserves the President's legitimate use of clemency while closing loopholes that enable corruption. It does not prevent pardons for deserving individuals who have no connection to the President's personal interests. Instead, it ensures that the pardon power cannot be used as a get-out-of-jail-free card for those in the President's orbit. This reform enjoys broad support because Americans across the political spectrum recognize that accountability must apply equally to everyone, regardless of their proximity to power. I urge you to vote in favor of this constitutional amendment in the Judiciary Committee and work toward its passage. Our democracy depends on maintaining clear boundaries around executive power, and this amendment provides exactly that protection.

For anyone still seeking an example of an #UnlawfulOrder, this is a shining example of one.

The operator of the aircraft that fired upon them should have refused the unlawful order. He should be prosecuted for his failure to do so, as should all of those in the chain of command.

Further, the definition of "shipwreck":

ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/ihl-treat...

"...the term “shipwreck” means shipwreck from any cause and includes forced landings at sea by or from aircraft."

You have it EXACTLY correct:

ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/customary...
Rule 47. Attacking persons who are recognized as hors de combat is prohibited. A person hors de combat is:
...
(b) anyone who is defenceless because of unconsciousness, **shipwreck**, wounds or sickness; or ...

Just wait and see what THIS will “justify.”

Their presence is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

And nothing happened for months…

Until it did. And all of a sudden, their existence is “justified.”

Oh, sure! 100%.

This was orchestrated by an orange-faced idiot who wants to pick a fight.

They waited until something happened that “justified” their presence there.

Until we regain our collective sanity, I don’t blame them.

I hope we can regain their trust again, and soon.

I've got my CDs, my vinyl, DVDs, etc. Even videotapes, if I can still get them to play!

I have ham radios for communication, and the know-how to use them effectively.

I'll be OK.

Which of course would make the creator of the original meme immediately interested in hooking up with the monkey.

Yes, but Trump does it CONFIDENTLY.

MAGA have a long history of following those who spew nonsense, but do it with the utmost of conviction.
