downside to going into a new job & not having PTO/vacation time cuz it's temp to hire is that I need to be taking a trip out of the country & while technically, I could because I'm a remote worker, the travel would be doubly brutal & I need to go visit for like two weeks to get a feel for everything

just dawned on me that I need to order more physical copies of the Dragon Hunters series because I don't have enough of them on hand. I have some, but not as much as I do the Coven series

so the DNF feature on goodreads, i'm curious if it shows up on the author side just like reviews. I kinda think it does and that's a choice. or perhaps people don't realize it's there and use the old way of putting it as a text review and that's what i just saw. It's confusing to me & i need clarity

So I went into my Draft2Digitlal account to see if and when I would have the fee assessed. Only plus side for me is that it's not assessing me one until January 2027. So I have til then to decide if the convenience i originally felt with this is worth me keeping it

listening to Phases and hearing it in Brandy's voice gives so much to it. Right now I'm listening to the chapter on Whitney's death. I love the way she describes Monica too. And when she recalls conversations she's pretty good at mimicking their voices

today has started off pretty good. Logged in to some unexpected new sales on the Coven series. Couple ebooks and audiobooks. got included in a post recommending MM authors. Not bad for a Tuesday morning

another consignment agreement done to put three of my books in a store. That'll be the fourth store now that my Coven series is in. I would also do the Dragon Hunters in these stores but that's a lot of books and kinda pricey #writersky

I did what I said I was gonna do this weekend and got out of the house both days for a few hours. Then today my day job has been busy as hell so I haven't done some of my normal stuff, i.e posting on any social media or writing.

Ain't nothing like getting in the car after one of your adult short ass kids drove it and your knees meet your chest cuz the vertically challenged one didn't put the seat back anywhere near you had it. Steering wheel bout hit my kidneys. TF

I desperately need to get out of my house this weekend. I need a touch of sunlight and perhaps to be around people....ok that last part I'm iffy on. But I do need to get out and find something to do for a while

Also, these days it's much easier for me to listen to audiobooks

as a note, I don't generally ARC read for other authors. Mainly because I like to read on my own time and pace, while understanding the need for deadlines. Also, reviewing in general as an author is always tricky and I'd rather stick to just doing things the way I do and picking up books I enjoy.

aside from being sick for two weeks, my current struggle with writing the WIP i intend to finish first is that I'm stuck on the next scene. There's a question of how in depth this particular scene needs to be and how to resolve it at the end #writersky

Thankfully, the next audiobook, Relinquished Mercy, has just gone into production. Probably looking at a June release. Two more audiobooks to go after that to finish up what's published of the Dragon Hunters series so far #writersky
