I’ve published two new videos this week, one with @trendhorses.bsky.social & one with @chutneydave.bsky.social two shrewd horseracing judges. If you enjoy our stuff please share, comment or like.

Not the sort of person you'd want to have to throw a surprise birthday party for....
Congratulations Helen! Have a great day today!

Aintree-bound at two. Miss the worst of the traffic, hopefully. Very much looking forward to seeing Battle Born Lad on Friday, have a feeling he could be a proper tool next year, lovely sort
Lovely quiet week this week, might do a bit of Rasen Wednesday if we get a few runners, then off to Warwick Thursday, and what's this? - a Flat fixture at Doncaster? Who sneaked that in there for me? #trackside
Be interesting to see how RG looks - every time I've seen him this year he's looked in need of it. Sorry to hear about bank card woes btw, the worst time for it to happen.
Well that's two of us cheering him home, at least
I've done 2 previews last two nights and made damn sure the handicaps got the most mentions. No Ordinary Joe and Midnight Our Fred will ensure a winning week! Here's hoping....

I like this judge. "Screw palp" appears to be the message...
In typical fashion, as soon as I'm due to do a preview evening (tomorrow) I get a raging sore throat and start sneezing...
At least I get Chepstow, even if I didn't get Hereford. According to Maps, it's 8 years since the last visit. The flooding was bad here yesterday - at one point on the journey from Worcester I had to turn around after seeing a 4x4 struggle through a flooded village.
Off to sunny Cheltenham today where I'm fully expecting the words "low sun" to come into play. Have a feeling today might be a Knockara Beau-type shock day....
Worryingly this just keeps happening
Oh dear. Rather glad I didn't set off for Ludlow now.
See you there...
Leanne is going to talk herself into the book....
Nice to finally get back out of the house and on a racecourse again. Super Southwell the destination. Have made a loaf to take along for us all to share with the soup. Hoping for spicy parsnip.
Here's something new from me, 'Simon Nott Zooms In' a video series where I revisit people in the game for an informal chat. This is #1 and features professional punter Brett Lloyd currently basking in Thailand.

I, for one, find it hard to believe Lingfield is off when, according to their course report yesterday morning, it was raceable at *checks notes* 3pm on Friday
I saw them at the King George Hall in Blackburn, supported by Interstella. Took a butcher's daughter along for the evening.
Someone at Timeform clearly a fan of the early-90s Manchester baggy scene....not you, is it @danbarbertf.bsky.social?
When a clerk uses the word "optimistic" in a going report, fine them two grand. Make it five if they add "cautiously" and ten if the fixture is subsequently called off. That'll learn 'em
There are so many easy targets in there Jim it's almost embarrassing. They might eventually catch one, but as you say, it'll be more luck than judgement
Glint in your eye? Suspicious. Smile a lot? Absolute wrong 'un. Eat your breakfast croissant in a weird way? Traitor all day long.
What a hopeless, rudderless lot....
#thetraitors
Indeed, one of my favourite January fixtures. Any chance Kempton might be on, or am I clutching at particularly thin straws there too?
They really are clueless. Almost cheering for the Traitors at this point, for all Linda's useless....
