One of my favourite memories from working at TIFF. I'm talking with the mother of Brooklynn Prince, the young girl from the film. Dafoe arrives on the red carpet and the kid sees him and just tears off to jump into his arms. His smile was the biggest I had ever seen.

On my lovely wife's advice, I got the Shingrix vaccine yesterday, and it has hit me like a ton of bricks. Never had this kind of reaction to any vaccine before (flu shot, COVID shot, etc.). Maybe longterm that will a good thing, but right now, body aches, chills, yuck.
