Hey, I know a lot of us feel like the Minnesota assassinations/attempts have been forgotten. They’re not, they’re just in a quiet phase for the good of the victims, their survivors, and the case.
The suspect is in custody, is not getting bail, and will be prosecuted. Two things are happening —

3 books currently: Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer, Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan, and Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett.
It is frustrating to me that (a) the word "alpha" came out of studies on wolves in skewed situations, (b) the word was used to designate leaders, but (c) is now just being used to describe assholes who couldn't lead a group of lemmings out of a paper bag.

It's weirdly difficult to remember that Trump's popular vote margin was /less/ than Hillary's in 2016. Biden got more votes in 2020 than Trump got in 2024 and Trump surrogates all under-performed in congressional races.

I have no idea how much they’ll be able to get away with in terms of messing with vaccines, but I will say it’s never a bad idea to be proactive about getting up to date on all your vaccinations!

Ending voting for women is a core part of the Evangelical plan for the country. They have even considered implementing “household” voting where each family only casts one vote (and we know who decides). This is the first step.

IIRC when the term first appeared people said Romantasy is more Romance focused w/ less world-building vs Fantasy Romance where there's obviously still a big Romance element yet focuses on the world-building a lot. Then everything started getting called Romantasy even if authors said it wasn't. . .
Very proud to announce the Department of Health will now process all requests to change gender designation on birth certificates within three business days. Previously, there was as much as a 10 month wait.
