The whole execution of this strip is pretty lacklustre, to be honest

When it comes to the animation world, there is something that brushed me the wrong way for the past decade and it's when people call an animator or an animation "bad" because it's not smooth like sakuga/anime ; vintage disney era.

All animations does not need to be smooth to be called "good".

Oh cool then; you won’t be lost :) Personally I liked it but yeah, different vibes overall from the main series.

Uhh it may be a bit tricky to follow if you’re not filled in on the main events of the series and the SU movie. The tone is also different; definitely not as light-hearted as the original series’ first season.

Went to a coffee shop yesterday with @thevitamink.bsky.social where we did some café sketching. I hadn’t done this in YEARS so I’m rusty AF, but enjoyed it so much I did it again today at another coffee shop on a whim. I hope I can keep some of the momentum going.
