So, they decided to make it official - congratulations to Grace, now known as Juniper (or Juni) and her new family, Ryan, Megan with Will & Rose. /3

We had a couple of girls to introduce, and it was the younger of the two who really did a great job with the kids. She introduced herself politely and played with them out in the yard for a while, and it was quickly evident that she would be the one. /2

Today's adopters came in with their 2 & 4 year old children looking for a new greyhound. They previously adopted a boy named Homer (fka Beast) from us in 2020 but he passed away recently. The kids were used to being around greyhounds so it was just a matter of finding the right pup. /1

He knows how to do stairs and is getting the hang of the dog door. He walks well on a harness, but prefers the softer surfaces because of his corns. We have had his corns hulled and it has really helped him. /4

He was returned to us when his family could no longer care for him. Raven lived with 5 cats in his previous home.
He is currently in a foster home with 3 other dogs (2 greyhounds and a smaller whippet mix).

He does like knowing someone is around for a fair amount of time, so may not do well in a home where someone is gone at work all day long. He is happy to hang out on the couch or a dog bed nearby his people. He likes attention but doesn't demand it. /2

She has been doing wonderfully w/him, going on adventures & getting lots of stuffies to dismantle (her favorite). We always suspected that Rey would attach herself to the right person, & that certainly has proven true, so today they made it official! Congrats to Rey & her new dad, Trevor! /4

Recently we received an application from a man looking for an athletic companion, and he was already used to active dogs since he previously had a Belgian Malinois named Nala. We quickly made the introduction and he brought Rey home as a foster. /3
