A visit to 'Wildside' and spring is moving apace here.

Anyone know why a hawthorn hedge dies?..I'm guessing it's old age as it's around 50years old...looks like the run of the rest of the hedge is slowly dieing back..not a quick fix to replace it..young Holly already in place but a few years away from healing the gap...

Magical in the snow?...I can't think of a better reason to have a Yew hedge if you have the room.
