I'm sorry but I don't want a spam filter, I want a functional email system

I genuinely don't remember the last time I logged into discord because they never invalidate your token. You can even use one login session to login on another device! It's convenient, but unsafe. I'm worried about discord getting into the authentication provider game before they've cleaned house.

The reason discord is so extremely vulnerable and notorious for account takeovers is most likely because they also have one of the most lax login token policies. I'd much rather login with just username/password if it means I have to put it in every day

Potentially a hot take but I think 2fa leads to making tokens more long-lived. Login tokens should be invalidated when you switch IP, hardware, or restart. 2fa reduces retention and companies have an incentive to improve retention by bypassing that with long-lived tokens. Seamless = vulnerable.

Certain areas are required, but outside of that you should be able to ask to keep parts that you like

A rotation constraint to match the rotation of the avatar's root should do the trick

The point is to reduce gravity *only* at rest angle. When you tilt the root bone away from it's original angle, gravity will be reintroduced

Try gravity falloff! It preserves the rest angle shape while still allowing gravity to affect it when tilted away from the rest angle

@rubyjanecastle.bsky.social introduced me to frozen uncrustables, microwaving them just enough so that there's warm jelly with a cold semi-soft disc of peanut butter in the middle. The combination of different temperatures is very nice

If you clicked a button that changes to a different scene, then your original scene with your avatar still exists. You just need to find it. If you don't know what scene you were working in, you were probably either in an example scene (and you should move away from that into your own custom scene)

They want the average bystander to think "why don't they just protest peacefully?" but the reality is that tyranny will never allow peaceful protests to exist. They will always be either shut down or escalated, so that it can either be hidden or used to "justify" their tyrannical response

When a tyrannical regime operates off of fear and intimidation, displays of peaceful protest ARE violence to it. Demonstrating dissent, even by waving some flags on a street corner, is a threat to their operation. Violence against tyranny will always be met with violence against people.
