I don't want to be a downer, but my concern is that the puppy makes this sound because humans breed dogs to have flat faces, which is highly unnatural. This causes breathing issues as well as other problems.

The President and his Administration have already failed twice in court trying to intimidate me, and he's still not letting up. Just more proof that he'll do anything it takes to silence those of us willing to call him out. I'm not backing down — ever.

I find it frustrating that there are actually people making money off of such nonsense and the lengths they will go to deny that the earth is a sphere.

The flat earthers are claiming the mission was fake and all photos are AI.

Yes, smaller dogs do live longer lives. Still, I wouldn't expect a dog that spent 17 years in a shelter to do so. Also, if one did manage to do so, to take it away from its familiar surroundings after so many years would likely cause stress. Dogs that live extra long lives are well cared for.

Well. It's where DNA and paleontology evidence leads us.

I'm not sure if this is an attempt at humor, or not. If we go back far enough, all modern humans came out of Africa.

I do believe this is an unbelievable story.

If he managed to live 17 years in a shelter, and is still alive at 21 that dog has had excellent care all its life. I think this is a fabricated story by someone wanting likes.

If a dog, that has an average lifespan of 9-13 years, lives 17 years in a shelter, since it was 1 year old, then another 3 years, that dog has had some excellent care. I find this unbelievable. If someone can prove me wrong, please do.

Many breeds humans have developed would never be able to survive in nature, perhaps most. Heck, some can't even breed or deliver their pups without using artificial insemination and c-sections.

A president should not be allowed to announce government policies or decisions on a platform that he owns.

Even when they are made to Jesus and/or God (for those who don't believe Jesus is God) over and over again, nothing seems to be getting done to address the gun violence problem.

It seems like it's something that Californians need to change. At the very least there should be safeguards so if one Party gets the most votes, but not necessarily one candidate, that Party should still be represented in the general.

I really don't understand the reasoning behind California's primary system. That two people from the same Party could end up in the general election just seems wrong to me.

I agree.

Yes, I am. And we must fight against it.

Via robots, btw. We can continue other deeper "exploration" via telescopes that are here on earth and in space.

3 days ago 0 0 0 0

When I say deep space, I mean our solar system. I'd like to learn all we can about the planets and moons that are "within our reach" so to speak.

I know. It's the Star Trek fan in me. What I'd really like would be for absolute proof of extra terrestrial life, microbial or otherwise, past or present, to be found before I die. Perhaps that would open some eyes. And, as I said, I do think robots are the way to visit deep space.

I do think that having actual humans orbit the moon, and maybe land on it again will spark new interest in science...at least I hope. But, I agree that humans in space long term isn't feasible even though part of me would love to see humans set foot on Mars.

3 days ago 0 0 2 0

No. Because part of the mission was humans in space. Although, I think putting humans on Mars is an extreme, maybe impossible, long shot; and colonizing Mars is a pipe dream. The focus should be on sending robots into deep space and on preserving life on this planet.

Yes. I watched part of a YouTube video of a guy addressing people who are claiming it's all fake. I had to stop watching because I couldn't handle the absolute stupidity of the flat earther idiots.

We will have to make some serious reforms so a tRump can never, ever, happen again.
