Exclusive: U.S. CDC plans study into vaccines and autism, sources say The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is planning a large study into potential connections between vaccines and autism, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters, despite extensive scientific research that has disproven or failed to find evidence of such links.

The studies have been done. All the published papers are in my linktree. Honestly, spending money to reexamine this is “waste, fraud and abuse”. Should I report to DOGE?

When, in the def of epi, it says study the distribution and determinants of disease “and the application of that knowledge to control of disease.” - does “application” refer to public health action or studying the effects of interventions? Does epi include action or just studying effects of action?

This is a wonderful question to debate- one that is particularly applicable to training MPH Epi’s. What should be allowed as their “applied practice?” Disease intervention and control? Research? In my opinion, it should absolutely include the investigation of research questions.
