BEING GAY ISN'T A CHOICE. BEING DISABLED ISN'T A CHOICE. BEING A REFUGEE ISN'T A CHOICE. BEING BORN INTO POVERTY ISN'T A CHOICE. BUT BEING CRUEL? THAT'S A CHOICE. BEING GREEDY? THAT'S A CHOICE.

This is your reminder to support your local public library. Libraries are more than just places to read and learn, they are refuges for people of all ages where young minds in particular can find support and direction. Let's not let the fascists and fanatics be their compass.

Some days are best spent sitting under a tree. This sassafras is perfect for sitting by the lake and listening to the birds and the nickering horses. You don't, though, need to own a farm - a local park should serve your needs. Spending time among our trees is deeply rewarding. Go find a good tree!
