New open-source app! Stylized terminals for macOS π Using @migueldeicaza.bsky.social 's SwiftTerm.
I got a bit tired of waiting for Dia browser to meet my expectations πβ, so I built my own native macOS next-gen browser that uses local AI.
I'll be open-sourcing it soon π₯
Initial vibe tests of o4-mini-high and o3. Not impressive π
I'm all focused, 15 apps to go
Sometimes just visualizing comparisons give a much better feel than benchmarks > rival.tips
I've added a comparison mode and AI duels to rival.tips
I've added a comparison mode to rival.tips
All the newest models like @anthropic.com Sonnet 3.7, OpenAI GPT 4.5, Google Gemini 2.0 had me spiraling to compare against each other. These one-shot challenges make it a bit easier to compare each model.
I started building it 4 days ago inspired by @karpathy.bsky.social 's LLM challenges.
It's fully open-source, Ill be updating it with new challenges and models as time goes: github.com/nuance-dev/r...
Been quietly crafting something funβrival.tips, a little web app to visually compare AI models one-shot responses side-by-side.

I lost 2 weeks trying to debug the new app I'm building in Xcode. The issue was a simple rogue breakpoint. But since I'm a designer with no deep dev experience this little thing got me going on an endless debug loop π
But persistence will prevail.
The app factory is back!
Stay tuned for my next app Trama, a native minimal and also free video editor.

Convert files of any type natively on macOS, fully free.
Convierto v1 is live!

OMG I was featured before
Seems like a german forum picked up my last app, fun!

This new background makes the apps look so much better, Convierto v1 is nearly there
I need to rush O and L to write Love U
I can now write words with my macOS appsπ
Am I the first one?
I need to iron out a few bugs and optimize the performance when using more than 10-20 files but it should support multiple file types.

You can also direct-download it with the rest of my apps in nuanc.me
Last few weeks I was coding mostly with Cursor so I did not need to merge multiple files into a single prompt, but with the new o1, I was losing a lot of time copying the text from each file into a single prompt on each update. So I made this drop-files-or-folders app into a single prompt or PDF.
Uno (U) - App number 9 is out! Drop files or folders and see them turn into prompts or PDFs.
Overall, Sonnet 3.6 doing much better than plain o1
The order of models is:
Video 1: Sonnet 3.5
Video 2: o1
Video 3: Sonnet 3.5 - try 2
Video 4: Gemini 1206
Video 5: o1 - try 2
The app in action
I'm building a macOS file converter that supports all files. For audio to video I need to generate some visuals, I've been trying @AnthropicAI Sonnet 3.5, @OpenAI o1, @Google Gemini 1206. They are all so bad I think I need to purchase that o1 pro subscription... π
File converter app (C) is almost finished.
Spoiler: it's way too fast
