It's been a busy, chaotic, and challenging several months. I moved, went through a divorce, and bought a house. But with spring came new hopes and spiritual growth.

Ellie's been loving spring, too. In between all the hikes, it's now warm enough for her favorite activity of all: swimming!

Looking forward to when it warms up enough that our walks will last longer than the time it takes to put on all our gear.

I've been offline forever as I needed some personal time to adjust to a new life with just my dog at my side and moving to a new house in a new town. It's all good and right for my life's journey. Just finally getting my headspace opened up enough to start writing again.

This looks like a fun twist for It fans looking for scary horror.

Done! Just finished writing Redline Corps, the first book in a new science fiction series and my 41st novel. It's a twist on the usual military sci-fi with the protagonist, Liv Reyes, being a war journalist rather than a soldier.

I tend to work backward. I picture who they need to become and then figure out what they'll have to overcome to get there. I like torturing my characters, so I tend to give them A LOT to overcome (flaws, ignorance, experience, mindset, etc.).
