What kind of country are we becoming when compassion takes a back seat to cruelty? When fear drives policy more than facts? History has shown us what happens when people are dehumanized and labeled as “others.” We can’t repeat those mistakes. This isn’t about politics. It’s about humanity.

Scouting America has taken steps also. In 2017, they allowed transgender boys in Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA based on the gender they identify as. In 2018, they welcomed girls, so that a child of any gender is welcome in Scouting. This policy shift was a significant step toward greater inclusivity.
Our lives were not meant to be used for ratings nor to stroke the ego of narcissists.

My son had surgery in November to relocate an organ that was located in the wrong place and was unable to function properly. It was preapproved by insurance because it was medically necessary. He’s 8.

Just thinking back on how TV’s used to be super staticky. Like when you ran your hand on it, the tv had a static smell. I can’t explain it but if you know you know.
I would say living in America where the cops have little recourse for their actions, this wouldn’t be wise to do here.
I believe we create our own purpose by pursuing what excites and inspires us. For me, that’s working toward a greener future, more inclusivity, doing community service/volunteering, and continuously learning to make a positive impact. But I also feel that life is a purpose of nature.
