agreed and, in my experience, this process can be easily undone by apolitical social circles that soothe said person into going back to not thinking about it

i worked on a campaign and saw the data. non-voters mostly aren’t registered to vote, and the few that are *never* vote. they didn’t vote in 2016, or 2020, or 2024, and they definitely didn’t vote in off year elections. what is a campaign supposed to do? time and resources are limited
