Weirdly I feel like the stylishness of the animation makes the violence not as gross for me which I usually get grossed out with when it's too much. It was the same for me with Devilman Crybaby that the show was so stylish that I didn't mind all the graphic violence as much.

Dorohedoro s2e6 ends like THAT and then we get slapped in the face with technicolor party music and a SAW reference
