IMO it's safer cause of the off chance there is a malicious part of the original repo (tho can't escape dependency vulns high enough up the chain)

And like are people actually copying this software for public or personal use? It's my experience-and I just saw a skeet about this too-that it's easier to point CC at a repo and then it build you its own version for local/personal use. is that bad?
All of these examples were after repeated prompting for those exact things from a human. Who are going to be the prompt police to mitigate that?
New Zealand even gave up their efforts

I’m sorry but this is an absolutely insane conclusion for the authors to draw given what they actually did
Palantir are about six months away from ordering their employees to leave audio logs scattered around their offices
has anyone made an atproto site for short fiction?
Capitalism. They’re mad at capitalism.
The habs tomorrow will be a needed palate cleanser after watching this game
It’s inaccurate to say Mario is brave and Luigi is cowardly
Luigi is afraid of death, so he runs away from danger. Mario is afraid of living, so he runs towards death. Both brothers are cowards in their own way
We already KNOW how to make super babies, you eugenicist creeps! And it's all the things you fucking fucks are fucking up! THREAD!
So first step is to stop using ChatGPT and any web-based LLM interfaces. The CLI-harnesses are a step change in generative-tool ability. Check ur DMs. I would love to have this conversation with you
But you know the code didn't work cause the target folder has no PDFs, the API data didn't fill or the food you ate didn't get logged, and then when that happens you give the LLM the logged error and it goes and fixes. And then it does work.
all things i do a day-to-day basis but would take enormous amounts of time done manually
It's because the code written by LLMs here is not meant to run apps that everyone uses, it's to automate straightforward outcomes like downloading a bunch of PDFs files from a specific website, or calling an API of weather or stock data, or adding data to a json-based meal log
liiike bsky.app/profile/brys...
this has been a property of python a lot longer than LLMs being able to write that python
I think this is a bug. I get this error on pretty mundane stuff. I just need to reset the convo, generally
italy's piano transizione 4.0 and germany's digital jetzt are clear, direct parallels to canada's CDAP. €177 billion across like seven EU budget cycles was contributed to the EU's quantified Digital Decade targets. Digital adoption at a policy level is a huge thing
lol come on. billion of dollars are spent on "digital adoption" policies around the world. evem before ay-eye. here's a Canadian example: www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news...

the survivorship bias meme is escaping containment
Public broadband isn't a radical experiment—it's a proven solution to a real problem affecting thousands of New Yorkers right now, write Suzi Ragheb and Katherine Jin. All that’s needed is the political will to pursue it, they say, arguing the Mamdani administration should see it as an opportunity.
BIRD was also an OG meme stock so there are like insane long term options plays influencing this
this is a really dumb story that I'm sure I will see 50 times today. company goes out of business, sells its IP for $1, sells its warehouse space for $2. this is what their stock "exploding" looks like
