New Law Takes Effect Requiring New York City to Install Solar Power on Public Buildings
The law, intro by Council Member @sandynurse.bsky.social and passed unanimously by the NYC Council, commits the city to install 100 MW of solar energy by 2030 & 150 MW by 2035, which will bring solar energy to approx 700 bldgs, with a focus on disadvantaged communities.
