There are 4000 of the buggers too. Now they know how many it would take to fill the Albert Hall!

It used to just be down to the chlorinated chicken and unaffordable healthcare.
Before All You Need Is Love, there was The Word. Tucked within Rubber Soul, this track marks a turning point for The Beatles - a moment when love became more than just romance.
I've written an article on why it deserves more recognition in The Beatles’ catalogue.

He’s definitely starting.
Looks great, Christopher - now do Dracula.
This isn’t Sean Dyche’s first rodeo
He makes himself big
This might be recency bias on my part but this is my favourite one so far…
They can’t park the bus
RIP Patrick Barclay. Once spoke to him in a Tunis hotel lift during the 2004 African Cup of Nations in Tunisia. He was a great football writer but also seemed to be a genuinely nice man.
And Kitler here…
😂
Perhaps all it needs is a big hug? This local tree would be happy to oblige.
The Daleks, Roy Keane, Bernard Manning and Lemmy all took a break with a Kit Kat in 2002
Good, obscure ‘That Man’ in things reference in the Barratt advertisement on page 17 - one for @footballcliches.bsky.social perhaps?
To all those that celebrate: Happy #Beatles Rooftop Concert Day!
One questions remains: What was kept inside that greenhouse?
Is this the last time The Beatles appeared together dressed in the same gear?
Every single time…
Still have my free account at the other place. Blocked the orange monster. Feels like the micro of all micro triumphs but satisfying all the same.
Who made this 🤣
Passed by a few months ago. Couldn’t resist a peek down the same stairs John and Yoko disappeared down.
Take your pick…
Polperro is my favourite Cornish village. I strongly recommend the ‘Blue Peter’ pub. I’ve been popping in there on and off since 2009. Parking is out of town, so not to spoil it, but you’ll need change. Take lots of pound coins! (£7 last year - no cards accepted!)
Donald Tusk, "I am aware this is a dream of mine"
"That instead of Brexit, we will have a Breturn"
"Perhaps I am labouring under an illusion. I'd rather be an optimist and harbour these dreams in m heart. Sometimes they come true in politics"
Always thought two legs in the Carabao Cup was a good idea.
As a Labour MP, I’m happy to say Ed Davey wasn’t wrong on this. Our politics should never be able to be bought by foreign billionaires, whether they’re American, Russian or from any other country.
And throughout January every episode of the Get Back pod is being played in an art gallery in Folkestone, on the corresponding day, along with new artwork every day.

January 6th
On my Beatles “Get Back” rewatch. In the US m, January 6th had a certain meaning. To me, it’s “George v Paul. “I’ll play whatever you want me to play” day. John and Ringo watch on impassively - John was in his heroin(!) smoking phase. Ringo sits. Silent. Probably hungover. Internally cringing.
