Cornelia Uxbridge, a young woman with short blond hair and wearing a green tank top, blue jeans, and brown sandals, is looking down in surprise at a bright blue, glowing unicorn pendant around her neck.
Cornelia has fallen to the ground, in mid‑transformation into a unicorn. A small horn has sprouted from her forehead, her human facial features are beginning to reshape, her ears are elongating, and pale fur is sprouting all over her body. Her fingers and toes are hardening and darkening into cloven hooves, and one of her sandals has burst open, unable to contain the growing hoof. A tail has torn out the seat of her blue jeans, while the unicorn pendant around her neck continues to glow.
Cornelia stands on all fours, her human features fading quickly as she swells into a white‑furred equine body. Her unicorn horn is longer, her short hair is growing out into a mane, while her tank top is shredding and the torn remnants of her blue jeans cling to her growing hind legs. Her feet are fully fused into cloven hooves, while her fingers are in the final stages of becoming the same. The unicorn pendant is floating of its own accord around her neck.
Fuly transformed into a unicorn mare, Cornelia unsteadily stands on three legs, one foreleg lifted. The glowing blue unicorn pendant hangs around her neck, still casting light onto her now-equine chest. The only indications she was ever a human girl are piercings in her unicorn ears and tattered shreds of denim clinging to her legs. Cornelia's gaze is uncertain, surprised, and apprehensive about her new form.
