So the idea remains pretty much the same, 1 Combo per day, except for the EX Characters.
Those will come out the same day as the base character, just like today with "Day 01+". Billy and Saiki will be showcased on Day 31+ and Day 31++.
This sounds like a lot of fun.

Maybe that's one of the reasons why the game doesn't have cross-play?
Cause they used different versions of the game on every platform?
Anyway, enough of me venting about the mess Safari did to my beloved KOF XIII.

KOF XIII Steam Edition uses Climax as base, but Safari is using different base versions for Global Match on different platforms.
PS4 and (possibly) Switch use Galaxy Edition (basically Steam Edition, but for GOG) as base.
Pc Global Match uses the console version as base, making it inferior.
While the Rollback and CPU usage have been fixed, the game is still not the same version as the now delisted Steam Edition.
You see, XIII had a 2nd arcade release that included all the changes, characters and stages the console version had, along with some extra fixes. This was KOF XIII Climax.
I haven't talked about this here, but the Pc port of KOF XIII Global Match has to be the worst thing I've ever seen.
At launch, the game suffered from horrendous rollback, high CPU usage and the use of an outdated version of the game.
All that let people to believe the game is being emulated (PS3)

Combo Scaling - Each separate "move" in a combo normally scales by 5%. So Damage is 100% > 95% > 90% and so on. Maximum scaling is 10%, except for supers, which have a maximum scaling of 50%. - Decimal values are rounded down/truncated. (if a move would do 8.75 damage, it does 8 damage) - EX special moves obey normal scaling if they are not launchers/combo starters. - The following situations enable a combo, but the attack after these initial hits will scale by 25% instead of 5%, then scaling continues as normal. ○ Any EX special move putting the opponent into a combo/juggle state (When doing Rev Accel combos, this often means each EX move scales an additional 25%, very quickly killing your damage) ○ A successful Wild Punish with either High Dodge Attack or Low Dodge Attack ○ A successful Counter Hit with a Rev Blow earns you a crumple state or ground bounce ○ Landing a level 2 super which can be braked, and then continuing the combo - A successful Guard Cancel into a special move or super starts the combo scaling at 85% for that hit, then continues as normal. - Counter Hit special move launchers, guard breaks, overheat, and S.P.G. do not affect damage scaling (however, all moves do 10% bonus damage in S.P.G.)
