Humbug at #7 and Anasazi at #4?! Have you gone mad, Bill?
Anasazi #1, Humbug #2
Nice recap and interesting thoughts that Season 2 didn’t quite stack up to what you remembered. My memory is that seasons 4 and 5 were peak X-Files. Will be interesting if that stacks up.
Good to hear Chrissy 🤞
Thanks Bill 😄
Episode 4 out now!
We are talking Lisa’s First Word, Ol’ Gil gets introduced by one of our listener’s for our Spotlight on Springfield segment and plenty of impressions and messages 😄

Episode 3 out now!
Continuing our Season Four arc, Ian opts for an evergreen Simpsons classic with Marge and Maggie at the fore.
And my choice for this episode’s Songs Of Springfield comes from a memorable season opener……

What a fantastic episode from the lads at Bang!
Maybe it’s the scientist in me but I loved the interview with Andy Oppenheimer and loved how the science and music all goes into the melting pot and we get a fascinating interview.
New EP from young Australian band, Monochrome Mary out now!
Check out their wonderful tunes:

Caught up with @thesoundofcmoffatt.bsky.social for a pub feed last night. Podcasting has led to meeting many new wonderful people and Ciaran is one of those!
SPR continue to “hit it out of the park” with their weekly Queen pod.
SSoR - Champion of course
A friendly reminder that Episode 2 of Eat The Pudding: A Simpsons Podcast is out now!
Our Spotlight On Springfield segment is on Hans Moleman, who pops up in countless episodes, has a different job every time and seems to die on screen more often than Sean Bean

Terrific episode again with Michael & Jack great guests and nice to hear Colin Hay get a mention. I’m a big fan of Billy Joel but not this particular song. Thanks the shout out guys!
D’OH!! No more Blackadder!
But in its place we have The Simpsons, and Ian and Michael are back to start another podcast obsession.
Great first episode, and I think we’re on a winner @ianwinick.bsky.social @mocca1976.bsky.social

Thank you Bill!
The Simpsons podcast I never knew I needed in my life. Ian and Michael left us all devastated by wrapping up their Blackadder podcast, so it's great to have them back yacking about a different show! ❤️
To kick things off, we revisit the first series, complete with its wonky animation, quaint storylines and Homer sounding like Walter Matthau on sedatives.
And this month’s Spotlight On Springfield shines a light on Troy McLure, who you might know from such

Wacky races was great fun!
Well, this crept up on me. Bang! Back for another season and starting with a classic REM track. Looking forward to another entertaining season from the lads. More field trips please 😆

Same in my house. Well, I was the only one who ate them until my youngest made a homemade batch this year. Delicious.
A brilliant run of 5 episodes in this lot. Humbug is a personal favourite with a rating of 6/5. Brilliantly directed and acted. The two alien conspiracy episodes also keep the narrative moving along nicely to the epic conclusion……of series 2.
Congratulations @thesoundofcmoffatt.bsky.social for the complete series. Great concept and loved listening to all the guests and their relationships with music and emotions.
And an absolute pleasure having you on Mark. Great to hear the feedback on series 1 from your followers!
What a lovely episode “love” was. Really enjoyed hearing everyone’s story of love ❤️. Now onto the “Comfort” episode 😀
What a pleasant surprise to hear The Stranglers song “Nuclear Device” get a run on this week’s episode. Being an Aussie, I know this song well and its meaning. The opening refrain is from another famous traditional Australian song “Waltzing Matilda”
Another mixed bag of five and I don’t have too much feedback for these 5 episodes. Some good ones coming up though! Keep up the good work Bill!
My memory of the X-files was seasons 3-6 were the absolute stand out seasons. Will be interesting to see if that’s the way it pans out with your rewatch
Another fantastic episode of @thesoundofcmoffatt.bsky.social. A really interesting mix of music and stories all around Turmoil.
