Just saw a clip of Starmer wiping the floor with Badenoch as usual, he's coming out fighting as I knew he would. The media despite all their efforts haven't landed a killer blow. And the more they drone on about the more desperate they appear.

I was just saying the exact same thing today on YouTube. A change of leader would only make things worse as they'd have the same hounding by the press without the legitimacy of winning a GE.

In January 2025, they tried to avenge the resignation of Liz Truss by pretending that Rachel Reeves was about to lose her job because bond yields were rising across the globe and the value of the pound marginally fell, as if this was comparable to what happened during and after the mini-Budget.

The right wing media are on a poisonous vendetta to avenge the resignation of Boris Johnson, during my life every labour Goverment has had to endure this awful attitude. They concentrate all their efforts to discredit Labour with no effort to acknowledge the good decisions. Unfortunately it works

It’s both - they clearly do not like Starmer, and want him out*, but as you say, no matter who has the job, they’ll get the same treatment. *Say what you like about him, but Starmer is not a quitter. He had a relatively hard upbringing & working for it all has made him tough. Tougher than many think

I think they’re on a mission to make it as bad as possible for them at the LEs. Hoping the backbenchers will turn the knife on him afterwards. What they’re not reckoning is that it’s still a few years before a GE! Policies and turn arounds take time to feel the benefit.

. . . and let's remind ourselves: two of those billionaires are Rupert Murdoch (Times, Sun, etc) and Lord Rothermere (Faily Fail).

Whoever is in that office for Labour will face the same attacks day-in-day-out until the government is brought down.
