It's cool they're making a new Street Fighter movie but let's not forget that Raul Julia was amazing in the old one.

I'm not saying that AI / vibe coding is directly responsible for today's shenanigans, but...
I am saying the kinds of standards which go hand in hand with that kind of coding are almost certainly contributory to today's shenanigans.
I don't know if the app is better, as I refuse to install Bsky on my phone, but I have to say, the website version of this site has been running like wet hot garbage for weeks.
I have no proof this is because the devs have admitted to using AI for coding, but I'm gonna keep thinking it real loud.
Just when I was starting to like Meld for various projects, you go an shove this AI drek into it. Absolutely hoped for better from you all, but here we are.
So long as everyone at your table is one the same page, comfortable, happy, and heard, then congrats, you won playing games with your friends.
I am mad about enough things in this messed up word. How other people enjoy playing their TTRPGs is just not that high on the fucking list.
I did it last time, and I may just do it again!
But you know what would make me even more likely to do it? If you decided to join as well. Go on. Click the link. Join us.
I hinted at it (and 17 of you found the link!) but now it's official...
The third #BreathlessJam is now officially live on itch!

So many reviewers talking about the "lack of plot" and stuff, but not really talking about the amazing visual spectacle, other than with upturned noses.
You give me a 90 minute theme park ride, and I doubt I will care about the lack of substantial narrative; though I'll still be smiling ear to ear
I think a lot of folks forget these are movies for kids, and while yes, there are movies with deeper and more "meaningful" plots for kids in the past, that doesn't mean that some movies for them can't just be wild fun! Plus, you watch that with someone having fun, and guess what? You'll have fun!
We also are reaching out to get something going in St. Paul soon as well!
A poster for a Roll 4 Community event. The top corner says... Want to learn how to play some lesser known Tabletop Role-playing Games/ Or maybe just find a community of players to be a part of? Then the date of Friday, April 17th from 5-8pm at Angel Food Bakery & Coffee Bar, located at 8100 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park It indicated that the games being run will be Brindlewood Bay, a Murder Mystery game where you play as elderly women from a book club, and Mothership, a Sci-fi horror game not unlike the Alien franchise. This is a joke. I mean no offense to Chris Pratt, oh, I'm sorry, I believe he prefers to be call CP now.
He's CP.
"Another joke making fun of Mr. Pratt? Really?"
Am I joking? Go ahead, look it up.
I've studied the way some celebrities initially appear to be quite normal affable people, but eventually reveal themselves to have either been turned shallow and disconnected via the industry, or were always secretly that way.
I've developed a unit to measure the severity, which I call The Pratt...
Last night I finally got to run my first session of Public Access.
I'm already quite familiar with the system thanks to Brindlewood Bay, so I knew I would like that aspect, but folks... This game is already Top 3 TTRPG for me.
Food snobs piss me off. Most food snobbery is just thinly veiled classism.
Yeah, I get really into cooking so I watch a lot of it on YouTube, I will block a channel in a heartbeat if they are snobby about shit. I don't care how good your recipes might be, I won't cook dickhead cuisine.
I was tempted to call out a certain YT "chef" but nah... Not stirring that shit... 😅
I’m not saying that no one dislikes AW legitimately… I’m sure there are people who have tried it and don’t like it, and that’s totally fair.
I am saying that everyone I’ve heard complain about it has run it like D&D. Well… they ran a worse PBTA like D&D and decided that meant they didn’t like AW.
I do a decent enough Matt Berry impersonation that my partner regularly tries to get me to do it. That said, after reading this I spent a minute walking around saying "Roronoa Zora" in my best Matt Berry voice, and I've delighted myself 😂
Nurse: What's wrong with him?
Doctor: He has Food-Influencer Reaction Syndrome. Just watch.
Patient, in an observation room with a muffin: [tastes the muffin, then begins to moan, throws his glasses at the wall, punches a fridge, and just starts humping the floor.] NINE POINT SIX OUTTA TENNNNN!!!
These are war crimes perpetrated by the United States and Israel. We will never wash the stain of these human rights violations from our country.
I can't say for sure that all the messaging in Utena is flawless, but it does feel like it is trying to genuinely explore the mind of the creator. I also think that some of that frustration may come from the time it was released and what was acceptable and all that nonsense.
It's been a long time since I really sat through the entire series, but as I recall a lot of that stuff is a slow burn. But also a weird mess. And uncomfortable and frustrating and confusing as hell. But I also think it is really supposed to be.
I've read through your play-by-play thus far, and my reaction the entire time was as pictured below.
Partially because I know what you've experienced, and partially because I know what you have yet to experience...
Enjoy smashing the world's shell!
FOR THE REVOLUTION OF THE WORLD!
Obviously I wasn't going to miss out on this deal, and you would be a real sillybilly if you didn't at least go check it out!
I just backed BREATHLESS: FRIGHTMARE www.kickstarter.com/projects/myt...
Obviously I'm not talking about putting in abhorrent shit like bigotry or other morally gross stuff. No.
I'm talking about stuff like "Players don't get a character sheet," or "One PC is randomly killed off every session."
Also, "good" and "worth exploring" don't mean the same thing, mmkay?
