I know time and money are in short supply and I'd never tell anyone to waste either, but I recommend consuming "bad" media from time to time- especially games. Why? 1) you may actually dig it 2) it may help you better understand what makes "good" media 3) it's probably interesting in some way

Halfbody traditional sketchbook drawing of Daaniel from Fear and Hunger: Termina. He has with one arm down off-page, and the other, holding a cigarette, is on top of his head in a frustrated/tired motion, matching his expression. It is colored roughly with marker.
daan f&h from 2023 I still really like
"long chibi" style fullbody artwork of my client and their girlfriend's pokemon trainer oc's. they are smiling in a slight jump pose, arms around eachother and winking. they are surrounded by sparkly hearts.

tomodachi life is like the feeling of writing boobs on a calculator and giggling to urself distilled into a video game
i am not mad. don't put in the paper that i got mad (i have had cords get yanked so much worse than this totally fine but have been very careful with my tablet and its pen so. Of course this happens. i hadnt even been using my tablet so idfk how the cord got out of place)
tldr somehow the cord slipped out of the shelf and got caught on my chair , the Only time my tablet cord has ever done this, and got very slightly yanked. literally was not pulled hard at all So of course it instantly wrenched the internal usb port so bad it snapped part of the metal in there
i think i am going to have to buy a new tablet after all. right as i felt up to drawing more again of course π

aw thank you! it feels so wild to put them next to each other like this even for me, it's so different that it's kind of startling! but in a good way. it makes me kinda proud of myself that it's THIS noticeable π The power of "i really wanted to see my ocs"
getting into ttrpgs & finally having a push to work on art helped so much after i had completely hit a wall.
struggling to learn even basics w/ how i think and work dragged me down for a very long time but i've been slowly figuring it out. if only time & energy let me do more lol
i don't want to qrt but 2020 vs 2026 art is kind of wild to me lol...

A closeup view of an ornate cuirass and tasset, showing heart-shaped designs along the edges of the metal panels.
An extremely ornate ceremonial halberd head showing etched and blackened designs with various plants, mythical creatures, and heraldic designs.
A closeup of the shoulder intersection of the cuirass, pauldron, and bevor of a piece of 1500s field armor. Some ornate etching of the crucifixion is visible in the lower right corner on the cuirass.
Here are 543 images (1.5GB) of items at the Philadelphia Museum of Art arms and armor exhibit
You're free to use them for anything, even commercially. I tried to focus on details not usually represented in available reference material
