a photo of me running on monday morning! i'm wearing a hat and carrying a water bottle that my best friend julia gave me. i'm also wearing a little windbreaker with a carolina mudcats logo that my buddy dan gave me. i've got on my favorite wired headphones - koss ks75 - the same brand and style i've used for at least 20 years
my dear friend josie and i are running a 5K this weekend to benefit freekind, a non-profit that supports victims of trafficking. if you have a dollar or two, we're very close to our fundraising goal! thank y'all so much, esp if you've already shared/donated! runsignup.com/josieruns

* or the parameters
i don't think it necessarily fits the definition were the parameters, but i am never not going to recommend skylar gudasz skylargudasz.bandcamp.com/album/cinema
i really enjoyed "oroonoko" and the "love letters between a nobleman and his sister"
yes! the aunty pat arc is a game-changer for doctor who and lucie bleedin' miller! i want to do a lucie miller era podcast so bad one of these days
an actual leap forward for supergrass. they started as a brit-pop-punk band and here took on their mature form as a brilliant modern classic rock band. this one cemented them, for me, as the 90s-00s kinks to the beatles and stones of oasis and blur. and i don't care which is which of the latter
turlough's got history
picnics with friends are the best 💫
Andre the Giant is getting a historical marker in North Carolina on Thursday, near where he owned a ranch. If you go, sniff the air. You might inhale some of Andre the Giant because his ashes were spread there, too.

It was great to be back on GMW!
I forgot I made this "art" for that podcast episode a while ago, so here it is! @gallifreysmwpod.bsky.social podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/g...
During the peak of COVID, a number of parents learned or re-learned that teaching is difficult. But this has had no lasting impact. Hasn't translated to calls to increase teacher pay, for example.
Trapsters convene a council and take a trip to the delights of Devil’s Planet.👍🏿
Good points well made in this examination of the returned episode and serial to date.
Can’t be enough Katerina for me. Love the character journey and surprises in an entertaining episode.👏🏿

ooh, what's everyone's favorite song by low? mine is "just make it stop." one of my top songs ever, really. RIP mimi parker www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rAd...
You’ve watched the “new” Daleks’ Master Plan eps… now listen! Here’s the first of three new videos about Tristram Cary’s music for the story.

When you realise Daleks – excessively armed mutants in whom any feeling other than psychotic hatred of the Other has been excised – and Orcs – twisted and corrupted shells of once-humans, animated by nothing but sadistic bloodlust – are extremely real and you're lucky they're not on YOUR doorstep.
I woke up mega early for this one. As you can see, it was well worth it.
i hate the phillies and bryce harper, so this is an extra nice way to close out the weekend
quote with an old film you've watched more than 20 times. ("old" is subjective.) unfortunately, 40+ is old (for a film) so definitely have to go with "amadeus" (1984). what a colossally good film. i will watch the paul bettany tv version eventually
let me know if there's a spreadsheet of available stories to commentate on or any particular seasons that lack coverage!
but my very favorite linus roache role is when he played samuel taylor coleridge in julien temple's "pandaemonium" (2000) opposite john hannah and emily woof as william and dorothy wordsworth. if i ever get interviewed by @letterboxd.social, it's one of my top 4 www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-2w...
i'm still so impressed that andy pryor got linus roache in for "doctor who," and by the performance roache gave. linus roache is a great favorite of mine for his work as thomas wayned in "batman begins." such a gentle, reassuring loving performance: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPvG...
i want to do a hamster!
