No, I understood what you said, except for who you meant when you said Putin is going to attack. You just seem to have trouble giving a direct answer to a direct question.

It's funny you say that. This reminds me of a quote from 198--- er, nevermind.
Yes, this is all pretty clear. Much like Hitler's embarrassment about the Central Powers losing WWI led him to start WWII, Putin's embarrassment about the collapse of the USSR has led to him wanting to retake former Soviet territories.
You still haven't said who Putin is going to attack though.
Right, you said Russia is going to attack but you didn't say who, so that was my only guess based on the context. Who did you mean if not Hungary?
This isn't a US problem or political. It's consistent around the world. Current COVID research is a major paradigm shift, and it's human nature (even for doctors) to hold even tighter onto what they believe when faced with such big changes instead of accepting the changes.
π€£ Anything that causes Elon to go (even more) crazy is almost certainly a good thing.
Totally agree, but I'm not even talking about the general public. Some science doesn't even make it to enough scientists.
Ex: The general public doesn't understand climate change, but enough scientists are on board that most people believe it.
COVID info goes mostly unnoticed even by doctors.
Russia is going to attack who? Hungary? They're a NATO member. That's instantly World War 3 and Russia is barely able to keep up war against only Ukraine. I would stop listening to the people feeding you ideas like that.
I can imagine, and I'm happy for you! I don't know much about Hungarian politics so hopefully the next guy is decent, but I'm sure he's at least an upgrade from Orban.
Congratulations to Hungary on voting out Viktor Orban! Let's hope this is a sign that more countries will be getting rid of their Putin-friendly wannabe-dictators soon.
The "Science is hard" sentence needs a modification to add something like, "and try to spread it to enough people who understand it to make it catch on."
I guess economists are starting to catch up to everyone who understands AI. Those who think AI will create enough replacement jobs are incredibly naive. AI will lead to large scale unemployment and governments are not adequately preparing for it.

Shareholders might be able to void David Zaslav's big bonus for selling out Warner Bros Discovery. I'd rather they void the entire sale to Paramount, but if Zaslav leaves without a huge payoff, that's a win I'm willing to accept.

Yes, a very important detail! Can you imagine going through the whole mission without a problem just to get seasick after landing? π€£
All crew are reported "green" (no problems) after a health check and have now exited the capsule, about to go on a 3 minute helicopter ride to the main recovery ship that will take them to shore.
On the plus side, now that the hatch is open, radio is unnecessary and everything seems good.
Radio issues are causing a delay in the retrieval of the astronauts. They can talk to Houston but not the boats right outside the capsule.
Hard to believe they've had contact with Earth from as far away as the moon, but now they can't talk to people close enough to yell to.
Splashdown successful!
Welcome home, Artemis crew!
Parachutes deployed, just a couple minutes to splashdown.
The hard (hot!) part of re-entry is done and communication has been re-established with the astronauts. Recovery teams have a visual on the ship. Time for the parachutes to do their job.
βοΈ Time to tune in if you're not already watching!
One of the downsides of real-life space missions having flexible launch dates. π€£
The song that the Artemis crew chose for their final wakeup call is appropriately Run To The Water by Live.

It's a very weird day when I agree with Piers Morgan enough to share his tweet, but it's 2026 and nothing makes sense anymore, so here it is:
@morganicink.bsky.social Happy birthday LaToya! Have an awesome day!
No worries. π I'm just glad we got to see it. Almost feels unbelievable that we're sending people as far as the moon again.
Checks compete and all systems go! Just a few minutes until launch for those who want to tune in!
A two hour launch window opens in about 3 hours from now.
