The dude next to me in the plane was watching the Minecraft movie β I was getting physically unwell by just looking at a few frames. Wtf!

I let an artist create a painting from this photo β with a slightly more friendly expression as a Japanese firefighter.
Haha! No, not this one.

In a great short essay, @robhorning.bsky.social has some sharp observations on the same phenomenon: Β«AI slop clips often latch on to news stories and try to show viewers what the news would be like if it could be stripped of its context and presented as maximally engaging to an individual user.Β»

There should be an update here: dev.liccium.com (see metadata API) . Currently, any app or platform can take any given asset, generate an ISCC code, receive all declarations for the asset (CID), then call the metadata API for details. The endpoint to search by DID should be added here.
Yes, we are still testing.
Either the user signs with his key pair (did:key), and a VC is binding his did:plc to the it after SSO verification.
Or the user signs directly using his ATproto keys.
Both should be resolvable.
Creators could add their publications list to Sifa βcomparable to ORCID or other services in academia.
Sure, all content declarations from creators are digitally signed and verifiable via DIDs (also did:plc). Sifa could easily access all content certificates per DID β either through the user's PDS or via local P2P node/API.

As promised, weβve created a policy document outlining our thoughts on AI and agentic coding (AI for software development). Weβre releasing a vote later this week for Blacksky community members to offer their feedback. We look forward to hearing from you all.
Gamification of quarterly bookkeeping.
@liccium.com is a highly interesting project in full development. You can attach digital ownership to the media or documents your posting and allow / disallow AI to use out output for model training. Once you ownership is added it can be publicly verified.
True. It is slightly complicated. A simple, general account-level rights statement does not work because people publish content where they may not be entitled to make a claim or rights reservation. When people e.g. say "don't train on this content/post" this may have unintended consequences.
Thanks for sharing. I'd say that we try to make creator rights, AI preferences and metadata robustly discoverable and accessible without relying on domain preferences, reducint the efforts for the creator. β Enforcement is a different topic.
- FAIA is a framework to disclose use of AI in content creation, see faia.liccium.com
- The Bluesky VC is a verifiable credential, issued by a certified trust service, witnessing the OAuth/SSO. Basically a portable, interoperable credential proving control over your did:plc.
- TDM refers to the opt-out of Text and Data Mining by AI model and system providers, see tdmai.org
We hope that we will be able to deploy this @liccium.com feature in a few weeks and that our approach may eventually become one meaningful "atmospheric integration" @alexbenzer.com was asking for --> bsky.app/profile/alex...
This enables post- and asset-level rights and preference declarations, with metadata bound directly to the content itself β independent of where or how the content is shared, and without reliance on the original publishing domain or application. The declaration is publicly discoverable via ISCC.
At liccium.com, we are developing an automation to attach rights information, AI training permissions or restrictions, and AI transparency flags to posts and their associated content. This is based on ISCC fingerprints and aligned with vocabularies currently being developed within the IETF and W3C.
Pleased to announce that an Authenticated Transfer Protocol (ATP) working group has been created at the IETF!
Grateful to everybody who participated in the BoF and chartering process. Details on next steps and how to get involved inside.
