To be fair they probably think the earth is flat and you can see it from Canada.

Excellent thread. I would add 2 other challenges into the mix: 1) AGRs are being phased out and not fully replaced plus 2) demand is going to increase with industry/decarbonisation (transport etc) over the same period. We may need SMR (& MMR), all new build to have solar/storage etc

I did have this idea a while back to create kNitter (something that could federate all of the sites) allowing fragmentation but also integration/streaming of ‘subjects’ (read that how you want).

Equally if we can say what is wrong with the current rules and what we are fixing then it may be an argument to press ahead.

1. there could be a cost saving on implementation (can the public sector afford it at present?). 2. there’s probably a lot of uncertainty created (more instructions for lawyers/case law is uncertain etc). 3. Can we measure or state the benefits? Etc.

Looks like the Procurement Act 2023 (affecting public bodies, utilities etc) is now being delayed until Feb 25. Question might be should it just be scrapped?

I have found a few sports journalists but don’t see many posts. With a bit of traction it could possibly see a larger migration.

1. Musk and the need for an alternative with sufficient traction
2. Pretty good so far
3. Sport content, thought my crowd with its loathing of the Sun would find a way - would have to lobby over there 🤮
