It was great fun.

I did something similar nearly three decades ago after I read David McCullough's brilliant "Johnstown Flood." I diagrammed chapters, noted his cliffhangers, etc. I was working on "Isaac's Storm" at the time. It helped enormously. We learn from the masters.

Hope to see some of you this month. The paperback of my "Demon of Unrest" launches next week, and I'll be doing a number of book events in various parts of the country.

Greg Bovino, other federal agents investigated for Operation Metro Surge actions Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said her office is already investigating 17 incidents involving potential unlawful conduct by federal agents.

The DA in Minneapolis is investigating Bovino and others.

Just arrived at Union Station in Washington, DC. Troops on patrol in one of the safest spots in the city. At least they’re not wearing masks. Must be incredibly boring: aimlessly walking streets already patrolled by multiple federal police agencies, Amtrak police, and the DC metro cops.

I'm headed to DC today. Curious to see how the city feels under occupation.
