Sleet is inevitable Sunday-freezing rain is what worries us.
Sleet bounces off trees & power lines. Freezing rain glazes them & that’s when outages become a risk. It's like a sprinkled donut (sleet) vs a glazed donut (freezing rain).
Freezing rain risk increases late afternoon, esp E/SE of Beltway

Also the Blue Apron cauliflower rice, same manufacturer. Delivery at beginning of September, notified beginning of October. Obviously food was eaten by then. Thankfully seemed okay.
Just in from DC Bar - labor attorney Diane Seltzer defeats securities attorney Brad Bondi in a closely watched race with record turnout.
Heeeeeee! 😊 🐹 ❤️
Props (if this is the reason) to whoever decided that Neagley’s name in the Reacher TV series should be pronounced “Nee-lee” instead of “Nay-glee” as in the books, in order to have this running, punning joke:
Reacher: “I ever tell you you’re smart, Nee-lee?”
Neagley: “Not nee-lee enough.”
😂🤣😂
Also bear in mind that people can request these records under FOIA (e.g., “the agency webpage as it appeared on X date”) and if 3 or more requests, statute requires agency to post to electronic FOIA Library.
It’s good for all federal employees to be familiar w/ responsibilities under the Federal Records Act. Records need to be retained for a period of years (depending on specific records schedules) and electronic records are, indeed, records. So these materials should be officially backed up / retained.
The anthology with my new story is fully funded, yay! Did you miss your opportunity to back it? Here’s your last chance to order a copy!

Comfort hamster. 💕
It’s 19 here, I feel for you. ⛄️
On the one hand, *incoherent screaming* but on the other hand *incoherent screaming*.
It’s the little things, sometimes.
In positive news, I read two books yesterday that I had received for free AND enjoyed them for the most part BUT don’t need to keep them, so will pass them on. Reading and decluttering, both!
That’s a really good point! 💕
Just followed a bunch of Snarkers over here (thanks, @elwhite.bsky.social!) so hi!
So pleased the Commanders won. What a game! It really was a fun one. 🎉
2 days left to support this anthology on Kickstarter! I’ve got a new story that will be included in it. Only $634 needed to reach the stretch goal and get a hardcover edition! Please check it out!

David Lynch as Gordon Cole in Twin Peaks
RIP, David Lynch. Truly one of the great weirdoes in film and television history.
And the giant red thing is supposed to be a hat for Snoopy! Unbelievable.
Thank you for the levity this provided. I guarantee your calendar was one of a kind because the intern who made it was fired immediately afterward. 😂 Happy New Year!
Was just talking about this to another friend. Right there with you. Would like to scream and then cry and then run away from everything to some isolated comfort-hole for awhile. 😢
Hi friends! I have a new supernatural romance short story coming out in this upcoming anthology, and would love for folks to support the project and read the story! Here is the Kickstarter campaign. 1 week left to support! 😊

Chidi Anagonye anxiety scale 7 — in repose 8 — eyes thoughtfully downcast 9 — obvious anguish 10 — frantic 11 — smiling over a pot of “chili”
Thank you for making me realize that I needed to have this at the ready
Current position on the Chidi Anagonye Anxiety Brain Scale:
"The Sound that a Fork Makes in the Garbage Disposal"
But seriously, though, where did you GET this calendar? It’s haunted. It’s HAUNTED.
Watching Supernatural is storytelling research, in case you were wondering. 😁
Also episode 2 is great. More character development, more setting up the premise, but all within the Mystery of the Week.
The epitome of being human. 😅
What, I must know more. 😮
