On Wednesday, several of our affiliated research groups participated in the #openhouse of University of Bonn: Visitors could examine the light stage, test a VR scenario, or listen in on the latest assessment of our ethicists. How do you make VR avatars more inclusive? This week, our media studies researchers in the consortium will present observations and preliminary results of their participatory research with queer and disabled activists on the process of photogrammetric avatar creation.
[2/3] This Friday, Prof Oliver Deussen (@uni-konstanz.de) is going to talk about how he and his team use VR technology to create a highly controlled environment, in which they research how different animals use visual inputs for movement decisions.
