During the shittiest of times. Which is now. People in my community are stepping up and getting organized. I wish this level of terrible wasn’t what it took for us to come together and I am glad that we are coming together.

I’m inspired by the courage these young people showed in standing up for our values and for our Jersey City community. Many are children of immigrants themselves, and they know that our diversity is our strength and that no one deserves to live in fear.
